Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing design calculations, reports, models, documentation, and other engineering deliverables. The role is involved in field inspections, information gathering and client liaison across a range of fields including power system analysis and design, renewables design, mining/mineral processing, and compliance auditing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or approved equivalent
  • 2+ years of professional experience minimum
  • Practical demonstrated experience with electrical system modelling and CAD software
  • Demonstrated performance in a design role delivering reliable, competent, safe design

Responsibilities:

As Senior Electrical Engineer your responsibilities will include a broad range of electrical, instrumentation and control system design for multiple clients. You will review and approve engineering deliverables, liaise with clients, and mentor the next generation of engineers to ensure projects are delivered safely with high quality, certainty, and innovative value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or approved equivalent
  • Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) – or intent to achieve 
  • Solid tenure at a Senior level OR demonstrated experience of high-performance coupled with a drive for career development and advancement 
  • Exposure to minerals/mining, power/energy/renewables or agricultural industries
  • Practical experience with modelling and CAD software

Role Responsibilities:

Supporting Engenuity’s General Manager and Owners, the Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for technical ownership of the design outcomes of projects delivered to our clients, guidance, and development of the next generation of engineers in the business and setting and maintaining organisational and industry standards.

This role leads projects on a broad range of electrical, instrumentation and control system design for multiple clients. You will review and approve engineering deliverables to ensure projects are delivered safely with high quality, certainty, and innovative value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering 
  • Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) (desirable)
  • Significant industry experience across mining, power/energy, renewables, and/or agricultural sectors
  • Demonstrated lead-level experience and respective tenure overseeing a design team and delivering design solutions

Location: 

Ideally, the Principal Electrical Engineer will be based in Brisbane and play a key role in overseeing the expansion of Engenuity’s CBD office and team. Some travel between the Gold Coast (Robina) practice and Brisbane will be required.
